Baptism is the first of the Sacraments, the one that enshrines the true birth of a Christian. It is through Baptism that we are cleansed from original Sin and become part of the Church and the body of Christ.

If the parents, residing in another parish, wish that Baptism be celebrated in St. George, they must request the transfer of Baptism in the parish of origin, where the process will be elaborated.
The baptizer will have a single godfather or a single godmother, or a godfather and a godmother. For someone to be able to take on this burden, they must be over 16 years old; to be Catholic and to have received Confirmation.
After the process is finished and if baptism takes place in our parish, there will be a meeting for parents and godparents with a parish priest. If the process took place outside and Baptism is celebrated in our parish, after the delivery of the transfer document, there will be a meeting, for parents and godparents, with a priest of the parish.
